The JX program exists to encourage swimmers aged 9-13 to strive to achieve set qualifying times throughout the season. Swimmers who achieve a JX standard time will receive an invitation to the annual JX Forum and a JX Pack that will be distributed by their club.

For doing so, qualifiers receive special recognition by way of:
• A distinctive JX cap (9 and 10 year olds) or JX shirt (11 to 13 year olds)
• A JX certificate of achievement signed by the National Youth Coach and members of the Australian Swim Team
• A JX motivational poster featuring elite Australian swimmers
• A USB with tips from Swimming experts for 11 to 13 year olds

At this stage the packs will be presented at our Welcome Dinner at Casablanca on Wednesday July 29th

SSC Christmas Party

All members and families are invited to the SSC Christmas Party. Training starts at 4pm with Michelle putting you through your paces. Then it is time for some swimming relay fun and of course food and presents to finish up.

Wow - what a turn out, everyone loves a good chrissy party. SSC hosted over 80 hungry swimmers and family members for a christmas feast. Competition was also hot for the Family Feud comp with the Swift's taking out first place (their trip to america must have helped with the american questions and answers, or there is just a lot of them!). Then our captains got the fun job of handing out the Kris Kringle presents. Great night!

2016 - 2017 Goulburn Valley District 19 Championships

Just a reminder entries are due for the following events - the Goulburn Valley District 19 Championships meet is a good opportunity for everyone to freshen up their racing skills in our home pool and obtain other qualifying times prior to some major events such as Vic opens/state sprints (countries times can not be gained at the GV meet)
